Privacy Policy

We collect nothing.

🔒
CineCinch is 100% local. Your videos, file names, scan results, and preferences never leave your device. No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts.

CineCinch is designed to operate entirely on your local device. The application does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data of any kind.

Information we do not collect

CineCinch does not collect:

No data is sent to CineCinch servers, third-party analytics services, or any external parties — because no such connections exist in the application.

Local processing

All video scanning, analysis, and compression operations run entirely on your computer using bundled copies of FFprobe and FFmpeg. No files, processing results, scan data, or any other information ever leaves your device through CineCinch.

Settings storage

CineCinch saves your preferences — such as the last scanned folder, output settings, and UI state — to the Windows registry on your local device. This data is never transmitted anywhere and remains entirely under your control.

Microsoft Store

CineCinch is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft may independently collect information about app downloads, installations, and purchases in accordance with their own policies. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement for details.

Support contact

If you reach out by email, we receive only what you choose to include in your message. That information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is never shared with third parties.

Children's privacy

CineCinch does not collect information from anyone, of any age. The app requires no personal information to function and is suitable for all ages.
